Sony is going to come up with four new premium business notebook. It is the PCs ‘VAIO Z Series‘ which include VGN-Z58LG/X, VGN-Z56LG/X, VGN-Z56LG/R, VGN-Z55LG/B. Powered by Intel’s latest Centrino 2 processor, runs on Windows 7 OS, and comes with a high-resolution 13.1-inch LED backlit LCD screen, 6GB DDR3 memory and ‘Dynamic Hybrid Graphic System’ that allows you to switch modes without rebooting. The Sony VGN-Z58LG/X costs $3,106, VGN-Z56LG/X and VGN-Z56LG/R) are available for $2,508 each. The low-end Sony VGN-Z55LG/B costs for $2,249.

Sony added S series in their wide range of walkmans. They come in 8GB and 32GB internal memory, 2” QVGA LCD, FM radio tuner and supports MP3, WMA, ATRAC, PCM AAC and HE-AAC audio and MPEG-4, AVC, WMV video. The S series is also available with cradle speaker that weighs only 53g.

Sony announced the Party-shot personal photographer – an advanced camera dock that pans 360 degrees and tilts 24 degrees, automatically detects faces, adjusts composition and takes photos for you. The IPT-DS1 Party-shot compatibles with the new DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot camera, featuring uses the camera’s BIONZ image processor with its Face Detection and Smile Shutter that takes photos without the user needing to snap the shutter button. Powered by two AA batteries, the batteries can capture photos for up to 11 hours. It will be available in September 2009 for $150.

Sony will be launching the two versions of its player “eBooks” PRS-300 and the Sony PRS-600. PRS-300 is the basic model with 5” screen, 440MB of internal memory and cannot expand the memory as there is no slot for memory card, where PRS-600 has a 6” screen 440MB of internal memory, which can be expanded with SD cards.

Sony has come up with Zappin. It’s basically a thumbkey similar to digital audio player. It features 2GB of built-in memory, FM tuner and Sony’s Drag and Drop Technology that goes without software. Sony Zappin MP3 Player weights 26g which support MP3 and WMA files and serves you 18hrs of audio on a single charger.

Sony released a range of crocodile skin Sony VAIO C-series laptops into the wild.

The crocodile skin Sony VAIO range of C-Series laptops are available in four shades, all pack windows Vista, up to 500GB of hard drive space, Core 2 Duo processors and up to 8GB of RAM.

Sony has styled the crocodile skin Sony VAIO laptop’s plastic lids to look and feel like real reptile leather to make it just a bit more stylish. The device will be available later this month at a price of $1,000.
