A website named WePC.com has been setup where people cna share and comment on what they would to like to see in the PC. The move will help boost the idea of a Truly Customer Centric PC.

Both Intel and ASUS believes that with this novel approach they can tap into the endless creativity out there rather than just relying on a bunch of designers sitting in a room.

Many interesting ideas have come up from the forum like a Ghetto laptop with woofers and tweeters and a Happy Laptop which will wake it user up in the morning.

Also a Laptop which is completely Water proof.

However you will need to wait for the first consumer-inspired PC till 2009 or may be 2010.

    I need to design and build 2 PCs , one for stock take and stock control purposes and to print invoices and delivery notes for customers, and the 2nd one must be able to do delivery notes and invoices as well as accounting, type letters, internet, email, office word, word documents, etc…

    and what sort of test procedure can i follow to test the system once it is all built up?

    i also need to have a a guide line in place for some trouble shooting for these specific problems: a. PC1 & PC2 are using the same printer to print invoices but the invoices do not want to print to the printer, it only prints to the other printer used for typing letters.
    b. on PC2 some of the software starts to hang when more than one application is opened…

    this for an assignment for next week and your assistance and input will be of great help, thankyou.
