MacBooK Mini: some more rumors on Apple’s netbook

macbook nano MacBooK Mini: some more rumors on Apple’s netbookIs Apple finally looking forward to launch its long rumored “MacBook Mini” netbook? While the company has made no new announcements recently, Apple rumor sites are buzzing with talk of an incoming small laptop.

The latest bit of evidence is the fact that a listing for a device called “MacBookMini” has appeared in the stats for IM client Adium. Big deal, you may well think after all, anybody can change their computer ID listing but the reason this is getting such buzz is that the MacBook Air was first spotted in exactly the same way back in Jan. 2008.

Businessweek has also claimed that Apple is working with verizon on a pair of new devices, one being an “iPhone lite” and the other one is “media pad” focused on video, music and photos but also offering calls via Wi-Fi. Now, the iPod touch is perfectly capable to handle these tasks, which suggest the device could be something larger, perhaps the rumoured “MacBook Mini”?

These stories could well tie into the recent rumor about Apple Buying up huge numbers of 10 inch screen as its being a perfect size for netbook.

Will try to bring more Apple netbook rumors and news (if any actual news does creep out) as they emerge.

What should be the next range of Apple products?

Apple has made a radical change in the range of products offered by them. It has moved from Computers to revolutionize the Digital Music Industry with its IPod and now has moved into the Mobile Phones.

It has always offered something completely different from what everyone has to offer.

Now that it has mastered the art of reinventing whichever market it enters, what should be the next range of products that apple should release?

Game Console: Apple gPod (“g” short for Game)

apple iplay 235x300 What should be the next range of Apple products?

It should first get into making a Game Console which is right now only limited to Sony PS3, Sony PSP’s, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii’s.

Although the iPhone SDK has some potential for developers to bring games to iPhone, but that only limited and has not gained any popularity with users. But on the other hand a Dedicated Game Console could do the trick for Apple.

Tablet PC: Apple MacBook Mini

Apple although has been thinking to jump into the Tablet wagon for quite a few years. It also has filed for a patent for such a device.

Also with the new revolutionary Manufacturing process that it has developed to make Laptop chassis known as Apple Brick, it could easily pull off a Tablet with very less price tag on it. Also with the iPhone touch screen it has introduced many touch screen touches such as the ability to zoom in on an image by moving your fingers to either corner of the screen. It would work wonders on a full screen Tablet.

Apple could also incorporate the MacBook Air like dimensions to add an edge to its Tablets.

Apple OS X compatible with any machine.

Apple desperately needs to capitalize on the popularity of its Mac OS X which has so far been hailed by users as better than Microsoft. It has in the past open its gates and made the Mac’s compatible with Microsoft OS, but I think the Regular Joe like us prefers the other way round.

Netbook: Apple iNet

Big manufacturers like HP, Lenovo, LG, and Samsung have already jumped on the Netbook bandwagon. And most of them have a resemblance to the white looks of a Mac. Apple should be able to take over the market with an ease.

Apple will be a Major hit with this smaller sibling of its MacBook that is if it decides to release one.

And then the last but not the least an Iphone Nano:

With the release of its Iphone, Apple has made a big mark in the Mobile Business. With the sales figures for iPhone reaching 5 million which is only fraction of the Mobile market sales, Apple can do much better. With the release of a Nano version of iPhone apple will surely takeover the market.
