Here are a Few iPhone application which will help you track the US election.
Poll Tracker 08 (iTunes link US$0.99): It will provide you with up to date updates on the presidential election to your iPhone. It will provide you with the latest Obama and McCain polling numbers for every state.
Obama 08 (iTunes link Free): It has a Call a friend feature which enables you to organize your contacts as per key battleground states. You also have the option to see who they are supporting and if they need a reminder on Voting Day.
Electoral 08 (iTunes link, US$0.99): It is a kind of simulator that lets you check what could be the possible outcome of the elections.
Vote Report (iTunes link, free): It will let you send reports about the condition in your local polling place, so that in case of emergency you can alert the media, officials, and watchdog groups.
Vote4Me: Now this is something on the Funny side to lighten the mood. You can see funny pics or videos of presidential election candidates when you shake your iPhone.
