
Sony announced the Party-shot personal photographer – an advanced camera dock that pans 360 degrees and tilts 24 degrees, automatically detects faces, adjusts composition and takes photos for you. The IPT-DS1 Party-shot compatibles with the new DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot camera, featuring uses the camera’s BIONZ image processor with its Face Detection and Smile Shutter that takes photos without the user needing to snap the shutter button. Powered by two AA batteries, the batteries can capture photos for up to 11 hours. It will be available in September 2009 for $150.
